JAMMU THROUGH MY EYES

JAMMU-The City Of Temples, acha ab don't say that you don't know where it is! Like Seriously!  Ok, let me clear you firrst. On the Map Of INDIA, you'll surely gonna find Jammu&Kahmir at the top embellish as The Crown Of India. And our Jammu is the Winter Capital of J&K. Surrounded all over by the mountains but the city is plain. The reason why I chose this topic for the blog because it makes me feel guilty when no one recognizes Jammu by its own name rather giving references of Kashmir or Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. So, this is the reason that I decided to show Jammu, JAMMU through my Eyes. (Also images that you see were clicked by me)

1. JAMMU-TAWI :    This is the name which you see on the Railway Ticket when you book for                                                     Jammu. Jammu TAWI is nothing which is nothing but a river. Actually no, not only a river, Lifeline Of Jammu. It is also believed that the city that is one the right side odf Jammu is OLD-JAMMU and that on the left side is NEW-JAMMU. On the banks of Tawi, You can see the BAHU-FORT, built by Maharaja Bahulochan. and if you move upwards in the direction of the river, you'll get to see Shri Mata Vaishno Devi situated on the Trikuta Hills aside flowing Tawi.

2. Nathatop : Nathatop, around 130 kms far from the Jammu city, it is situated in between the Jammu ans the Kahmir. At a height of 2700m(8858feet) above the sea level, it is a perfect picnic spot for the visitors of Jammu. It is at a such height that the first winter snowfall takes place here. For the nature lovers,it is probably the best spot to chill out. Also don't forget to try the local cuisines here majorly local veggies of the Forests which is too yum to eat. Camping facilities in dense forests on the top through trek of about 2-3 kms is must to try. Also not only in winters, remember to bring Warm clothes with you

3. ......Coming soon! lol
